Big Bear Area Office

Clinical Supervisor

Location: Big Bear Lake

Pay: $70,000 yearly salary

Type: Full Time

Job Description:

Full Time 36 hours per week. Clinical Supervision of an active outpatient mental health clinic as well as providing some direct therapeutic services for ages 4-99+ moderately to severely mentally ill clients. Supervision of 1-2 interns plus Case Manager and Success First /Student Assistance Program teams. Full time salary for 32 hours per week (off every other Friday or 4 hour days on Fridays). Qualifications:

  • Requires Master’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work.
  • Full clear licensure with the State of California as an LMFT or LCSW.
  • Supervision for BBS requirements completed.
  • Need excellent leadership, communication, supervision skills.
  • Experience with San Bernardino CANS a plus.
  • Prior clinical supervision experience, bilingual Spanish desirable but not required.

MFT/ASW/LPCC Intern

Location: Big Bear Lake

Pay: $21.21/hour

Type: Full Time

Job Description:

Full Time 36 hours per week providing therapeutic services to clients of all age groups. Supervision is provided toward BBE required hours for licensure. Position provides opportunity to live and play in a scenic San Bernardino Mountain community with skiing/snow sports in winter and a variety of lake and nature related activities in the summer.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a clear California Intern Number.
  • Personal car insurance (CA minimum).
  • Ability to pass DOJ, DMV, and exclusion list checks.
  • Prior experience with San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health Charting a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish desired.

Central City Lutheran Mission

ASP Tutor

Location: San Bernardino

Type: Part Time

Pay: $11.00/hour

After School Program Tutor will need to lead, direct, and teach a classroom of 10-20 and ensure students are listening and staying on task. Tutor should be focused and exciting with K-8 students, possess the ability to engage with school staff, students and parents, and communicate with manager of area.

Qualifications:

  • Education Required: High School Diploma and at least 2 years experience working with children or 45 units of college education completed in the areas of education, or child development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with students.
  • High energy and creativity.
  • An enthusiasm about learning/teaching in new and innovative ways.
  • Quick learning ability, organized, punctual.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • CPR & First Aid Certified preferred.

Orange County Office

Case Manager

Location: Garden Grove

Pay: $13.00/hour

Type: Part Time

Job Description:

Provide case management services to all clients as needed and in accordance with policies and procedures, including but not limited to Intake, Assessment, Care planning, linkage and consultation to resources in the community. Attend community meetings/collaborative to inform and be informed about available services. Monitor and Track charts monthly for service provision. Provide follow up for those charts not in compliance. Fulfill program or contract requirement as outlined in contract or as directed by Area Director or Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Education Required: Bachelors preferred in related field.
  • Licensing required: Valid CA Driver’s License.
  • Ability to pass DOJ, DMV, and exclusion list checks.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
  • At least 1 year experience with public benefits enrollment.
  • Position requires travel, clear CA Driver’s License, and reliable vehicle.
  • Bilingual Spanish, Farsi or Korean a plus.

VA Benefit Specialist

Ambassadors are short-term volunteers who open doors for our organization in the community, introducing new people at our bi-monthly Fostering Community Care event. These are one hour awareness events only (no solicitations are made) to expose people to the great work of LSS Community Care. To become an Ambassador here are your responsibilities:
  1. 1 – Attend at least one Fostering Community Care event during the calendar year
  2. 2 – Host or invite and bring 10-15 guests to one Fostering Community Care event within 3 months of your attending one yourself.
  3. 3 – Inform your invited guests of what the Fostering Community Care meeting will be about, and let them know that they will receive a follow up call from the organization
  4. 4 – Ambassadors will complete their commitment after bringing 10-15 persons within the 3 month time period. An Ambassador has the option to complete after one term, continue for another 3 month term or move into another role on the team.
