Qualifications:

Big Bear Area Office

CA Licensed LVN or Psych Tech

Location: Big Bear Lake

Pay: $22.22/hour

Job Description:

Act as site coordinator for a tele-psychiatry services in Big Bear and Lucerne Valley, providing clients interface with MD, medication education, and prescription management. Travel to Lucerne 3 days a month. Position provides opportunity to live and play in a scenic San Bernardino Mountain community with skiing/snow sports in winter and a variety of lake and nature related activities in the summer.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a clear California License, personal car insurance (CA minimum).
  • Ability to pass DOJ, DMV, and exclusion list checks.
  • Prior experience with San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health Charting a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish desired.

Clinical Supervisor

Location: Big Bear Lake

Pay: $70,000 yearly salary

Type: Full Time

Job Description:

Full Time 36 hours per week. Clinical Supervision of an active outpatient mental health clinic as well as providing some direct therapeutic services for ages 4-99+ moderately to severely mentally ill clients. Supervision of 1-2 interns plus Case Manager and Success First /Student Assistance Program teams. Full time salary for 32 hours per week (off every other Friday or 4 hour days on Fridays). Competitive benefits.

Qualifications:

  • Requires Master’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work.
  • Full clear licensure with the State of California as an LMFT or LCSW.
  • Supervision for BBS requirements completed.
  • Need excellent leadership, communication, supervision skills.
  • Experience with San Bernardino CANS a plus.
  • Prior clinical supervision experience, bilingual Spanish desirable but not required.

MFT/ASW/LPCC Intern

Location: Big Bear Lake

Pay: $21.21/hour

Full Time 36 hours per week providing therapeutic services to clients of all age groups. Supervision is provided toward BBE required hours for licensure. Case Manager

Location: Garden Grove

Job Description:

Provide case management services to all clients as needed and in accordance with policies and procedures, including but not limited to Intake, Assessment, Care planning, linkage and consultation to resources in the community. Attend community meetings/collaborative to inform and be informed about available services. Monitor and Track charts monthly for service provision. Provide follow up for those charts not in compliance. Fulfill program or contract requirement as outlined in contract or as directed by Area Director or Supervisor.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the development of a new program to assist the disabled, homeless and special needs populations to obtain SSI/SSDI, CAPI or VA benefits in order to create a stable income source for those in need. Wraparound Parent Partner

Location: Yucca Valley

Pay: $17.00/hour

Job Description:

Provides peer support and case management services for the families of WRAP around clients.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of college or work experience in mental health or a related field.
  • Personal experience with the ” child welfare system” as a parent, foster child, foster parent or other personal exposure which allows the candidate to exhibit empathy and guide the family through their experience with the DCFS or Juvenile Justice systems.
  • Needs excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience with the San Bernardino County WRAP program a plus.
  • Requires a clear CA Driver’s License and personal vehicle. Services are provided in the clients home so daily driving is required (company vehicles are provided in some instances).
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required.

Ambassadors are short-term volunteers who open doors for our organization in the community, introducing new people at our bi-monthly Fostering Community Care event. These are one hour awareness events only (no solicitations are made) to expose people to the great work of LSS Community Care. To become an Ambassador here are your responsibilities:
  1. 1 – Attend at least one Fostering Community Care event during the calendar year
  2. 2 – Host or invite and bring 10-15 guests to one Fostering Community Care event within 3 months of your attending one yourself.
  3. 3 – Inform your invited guests of what the Fostering Community Care meeting will be about, and let them know that they will receive a follow up call from the organization
  4. 4 – Ambassadors will complete their commitment after bringing 10-15 persons within the 3 month time period. An Ambassador has the option to complete after one term, continue for another 3 month term or move into another role on the team.
