Building Stronger Communities: The HUB Resource Center and LSSSC Launch a New Monthly Partnership
We are excited to announce a new collaboration that will bring expanded resources and services to our community! Beginning this month, The HUB Resource Center and Lutheran Social Services of Southern California (LSSSC) are partnering once a month to offer even greater support to individuals and families in need.
Both The HUB and LSSSC are committed to creating stronger, healthier communities by providing essential services, compassionate care, and opportunities for growth. By joining forces, we are able to meet people where they are — both figuratively and literally — to offer comprehensive support.
A key feature of this partnership will be the LSSSC Mobile Wellness Unit, which will be onsite during these monthly events. The Mobile Wellness Unit is designed to bring vital resources directly to the community, by offering services such as:
• Health screenings
• Hygiene kits
• Case management referrals
• Mental health support
• Immediate basic needs assistance
• And more
This innovative unit allows LSSSC to eliminate barriers to access by delivering care and resources directly to the people who need them most. When coupled with The HUB's ongoing efforts to provide community outreach, education, and supportive services, this partnership forms a unique and powerful step forward toward our shared mission.
