Inner-city Gospel and Mime
Song selections will include traditional church hymns infused with a gospel flair and contemporary gospel hits. The choir has resounded within churches of various denominations and at ELCA Synod assemblies, conventions, convalescent hospitals, banquets, special holiday services, city-prayer events, and regional youth gatherings. NCP itself is a coalition of eight Lutheran congregations serving South Los Angeles, Inglewood and Compton and the diversity of people found there. Click here to learn more about New City Parish

Members of Woven Image are Carole Parmeter Dyer, Tom Parmeter Dyer and Alan Cook. Together, Carole and Tom Parmeter Dyer have produced four CDs – “Songs of Hope and Healing” and “Songs of Hope and Healing,” Volumes II and III, with Trinity Lutheran Church in Oakland and “Let Peace Fill the Earth,” with the Interfaith Council of Contra Costa County – and with Alan Cook, “Woven Image,” a self-titled recording of their folk band’s music.

Pastor Nate grew up rapping in church from a young age, but as a teenager he fell into a life of addiction and other destructive behaviors. Through God’s grace and love he was able to turn around and follow after Christ, eventually becoming a minister, he now seeks to share that same grace that saved him to others through his ministry and music.
