Happy Friday Team and Hello December!
Here we are in the last month of the year. Is it me, or did this year fly by us? We just celebrated Thanksgiving, and I hope you had a joyous and peaceful day. Perhaps you had considerable crowds to contend with, or you celebrated in the quiet of your home.
Whatever you did, I pray you felt refreshed when you returned to work this week.
Have I ever told you that this month represents my favorite holiday of them all? I love CHRISTMAS!
One thing that makes me smile inside and out, even when having a challenging day, is seeing Christmas decorations.
When I walked into my office this week, what hit me in the face was one of the most beautifully done offices—Ryan’s! (Ryan’s Office)
It made me feel good to know that I had someone near me who loved the holiday as much as me and would take the time to decorate.
For some, decorating their spaces isn’t a big deal. I can appreciate that. However, for me, to see the effort put into doing it warms my heart.
It moves me to see the beauty in others, and for some reason, I see their attitudes of optimism and hope.
When I think of Ryan, that’s what I see; a person who is happy, optimistic, loving, and kind. I hope some of that rubs off on me.
What brings about a sense of hope to you today? I know that the holidays are great for some and not so great for others,
but amid trying times, when you may feel hopeless, what helps you? For me, although the decorations are lovely, my hope comes from God, the maker of heaven and earth. As Psalm 33:22 states, “May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our HOPE in You.”
