Dr. Beckwith’s Friday Inspiration For October 7th

Happy Friday LSSSC Team,

As we approach another beautiful Friday, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’re on together and to inspire each one of you. Our organization has always been driven by a mission to serve, uplift, and empower vulnerable individuals in the various communities we serve. Today, I want to share a message of excitement, enthusiasm, and optimism as we move forward.

In the book of Isaiah 40:31, we are reminded: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” This verse resonates deeply with our commitment to serving others. It speaks to the resilience and strength that come from holding onto hope and embracing growth.

As a team, we must embody this spirit of hope and growth. We must be excited about the opportunities that lie ahead, enthusiastic about the positive impact we can make, and optimistic about our ability to create lasting change.

Growth isn’t just about numbers; it’s about touching more lives and providing services to those who need it most. In Matthew 25:40, we are reminded of the importance of serving others: “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Our growth means that we can reach more vulnerable people, make a more profound impact, and honor our calling to serve.

To achieve this, we must embrace a growth mentality throughout our organization. Let us be open to learning, innovation, and change. Let us seek out new ways to improve our services, expand our reach, and enhance the lives of those we touch.

Remember, we are not just employees; we are a family united by a common purpose. Let’s continue to support one another, lift each other up, and inspire hope in those we serve. Together, we can achieve remarkable things.

I encourage you all to carry this message of growth, hope, and optimism into your work every day. Each action we take, no matter how small, has the potential to create a ripple effect of positive change.

Thank you for your dedication, your passion, and your unwavering commitment to our mission. Together, we can make a profound difference in the lives of the vulnerable individuals we serve.

I wish you all a blessed Friday and a weekend filled with hope and inspiration.

Blessings to you all.

Ambassadors are short-term volunteers who open doors for our organization in the community, introducing new people at our bi-monthly Fostering Community Care event. These are one hour awareness events only (no solicitations are made) to expose people to the great work of LSS Community Care. To become an Ambassador here are your responsibilities:
  1. 1 – Attend at least one Fostering Community Care event during the calendar year
  2. 2 – Host or invite and bring 10-15 guests to one Fostering Community Care event within 3 months of your attending one yourself.
  3. 3 – Inform your invited guests of what the Fostering Community Care meeting will be about, and let them know that they will receive a follow up call from the organization
  4. 4 – Ambassadors will complete their commitment after bringing 10-15 persons within the 3 month time period. An Ambassador has the option to complete after one term, continue for another 3 month term or move into another role on the team.
