Happy Friday Team!
I pray your week has been productive and fun! As much as I love being at the office, I had to stay in most of the week due to being under the weather. I love my work, and I seldom disconnect, but I must admit I did not feel well this week. I quickly found that I needed to be still so my body could rest and recuperate.
As I contemplated what words of inspiration, hope, and motivation I would share today, the scriptures in Psalms 23 came to mind. I am sure you know it; “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul….” What beautiful imagery comes to mind when I read this chapter. Restoration. As I dwelled on Psalms 23, I could not help but ponder Psalms 24; “The earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof; the world, and all that dwell in it….” Again, imagery comes to mind of just how powerful and significant God is. As I think of these two chapters collectively, I can’t help but be amazed at God’s tremendous power. Still, I am also very aware that despite being in control of the universe, He cares for us individually.
I am so glad that God is in control of everything, and no matter what situations we face, any struggle or victory, God is our shepherd. He will walk through every single problem with us. I hope you will remember these scriptures as you enter today and this weekend. Also, remember to take some time to rest and relax. Trust me, we all need to take time for ourselves. Remember, we will lack nothing because we have a good, good shepherd. He will refresh us.
May your day be filled with love, joy, and peace.
